Discovery Days
Our Discovery Program turns a regular Field Trip into an interactive, hands-on day of discovery. Each of our Discovery Day options come with specialized programming meant to engage and entertain students all disguised as fun!
Don’t worry though, there is still plenty of time for outside games, museum exploration, and unstructured fun!
Every Discovery Day includes:
- Science based learning at the Innovation Station
- Hands on learning in our Exhibit Room
- An on theme outdoor activity
- A private Storytime
- unstructured, supervised fun!

Paleontology
Dinosaurs are always a hit with students. Our Paleontology Discovery Day is packed with hands on learning of the great extinction, identifying replica dino-bones, and themed games.
Astronomy
Space may be out of this world, but our Astronomy Discovery Day brings it back down to earth. This path focuses on the constellations, engineering behind our telescopes, and fun hands-on activities.
Geology
All of our Discovery Days are awesome, but our Geology path ROCKS! Students become the archeologists, learning about the different types of rocks and how they are formed.
Marine Sciences
“Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea” and let us bring the joy to your students! We will explore the sea and how we have a responsibility to keep our oceans clean!
To Schedule a Discovery Day
Our Discovery Days can be scheduled on any Monday or Wednesdays. These events are private, and the museum will be closed to the public during the time of the reservation to guarantee the best experience for the students. If you require a different day, please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate your needed date.
A nonprofit children’s museum where children ages infant to 14 would be encouraged to have hands-on educational and fun arts and science experiences.
