Mission Statement

The mission of the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is to provide child-centered, hands on, interactive environment for learning and discovery. CMBV desires to fulfill its mission by offering activities that are innovative, creative and playful.

Objectives

The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley fulfills its mission to provide child-centered, hands on learning in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to: 

* Providing an innovative facility designed to promote creativity, exploration, and play through carefully selected exhibits.

* Offering a variety of S.T.E.A.M. activities in the Innovation Station; S.T.E.A.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. 

* Offering a variety of summer camps and workshops that provide in-depth S.T.E.A.M. curriculum.

* Developing Community Partnerships through donors and outreach activities to bring learning and discovery to every child in the Brazos Valley.

The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley is a place where fun and learning go hand ‘n hand. We value our role in the community, and are committed to honoring, practicing and promoting diversity. We believe that our community wants the best for its children, and it is our goal to create opportunities for today’s children to become tomorrow’s visionaries by building an inclusive environment, offering a platform for them to enhance their cultural competence, and modeling our commitment to inclusion every day.
